“Companies Against Domestic Violence: A Participatory Action Research and Social Action Study” has been published.
A publication titled “Companies Against Domestic Violence: A Participatory Action Research and Social Action Study” has been released, focusing on the “Business Against Domestic Violence (BADV)” project initiated by the Turkey Corporate Governance Forum (SU CGFT), a research and social impact center within Sabancı University.
Launched with the support of the Consulate of the Netherlands and currently conducted in collaboration with the Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association (TÜSİAD), with support from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Sabancı Foundation, this book compiles experiences from the BADV project. It illustrates the role of the business world in combating domestic violence/intimate partner violence.
The book, compiled by Melsa Ararat, the Founding Director of SU CGFT, was prepared for publication by Sevda Alkan, who coordinated the project from 2013 to 2023. Contributions to this important publication were made by Prof. Dr. Fatmagül Berktay, Assoc. Dr. Özge İzdeş, Assoc. Dr. Sevgi Uçan Çubukçu, Meltem Ağduk, and F. İrem Çağlar Gürgey through their articles.
