BADV Network Members Gathered for the “Sustainability Workshop”

The workshop, held on September 19th in a hybrid format, aimed to determine the management structure that would enable the sustainability of the BADV Network and discuss its financial model. Hosted by Sabancı University Corporate Governance Forum (SU CGFT) and supported by UNFPA, the workshop took place at Sabancı University Altunizade Digital Campus.

In the first session, a draft document prepared based on the recommendations crystallized during the “Governance Structure and Determination of Committee Working Principles Workshop” held on May 9th regarding the management structure and operation of the Network was evaluated. The draft text was shaped by the participants’ views and suggestions on the Network’s goals, committee duties, and membership.

During the second session of the workshop, the draft model for the financial sustainability of the Network was shared with the participants, leading to a fruitful discussion on the possible pillars of the financial model that would enable the Network’s sustainability.

At the conclusion of the day-long workshop, the participants’ views and suggestions regarding two important documents of the governance model that would strengthen the collaboration among companies and enable the managerial and financial sustainability of the Network, namely the “The Network’s Governance Structure and Operational Model” and the “The Network’s Sustainability Model,” were compiled.
