The "BADV Supportive Gender Equality Training" program is ongoing!

The first session of the second module titled "Legal Framework" took place on January 17 from 13:30 to 16:30. The training was conducted by lawyer Çiğdem Hacısoftaoğlu Çataltepe, with representatives from 19 member companies of the Companies Network participating.

We discussed the existing national and international legislation in the fight against violence against women, the challenges faced in the application of these laws, and how legal regulations—primarily Law No. 6284, the Istanbul Convention, and CEDAW—can guide us in establishing support mechanisms for combating domestic violence in companies.

The training program will continue with the following modules: "Module 2/2: Institutions to Contact in the Fight Against Violence Against Women," "Module 3: Communication Techniques with Employees Experiencing Violence," "Module 4: Approaches to Violence Against Women and Health," and "Module 5: Effective Communication."
