2024 BADV Training Program Continues!
The first session of the second module titled "Legal Framework" of the BADV Training Program took place on September 25 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
The training, conducted by attorney Çiğdem Hacısofaoğlu, was attended by representatives from 14 new companies that joined BADV in 2024.
During the session, we discussed the existing national and international legislation in the fight against violence against women, the challenges faced in the implementation of these laws, and how legal regulations—primarily Law No. 6284, the Istanbul Convention, and ILO C190 CEDAW—can guide us in establishing support mechanisms for combating domestic violence within companies.
The 2024 BADV Educator Training Program will continue with the following modules: "Module 2.2: Institutions and Organizations to Contact in the Fight Against Violence Against Women," "Module 3: Communication Techniques with Employees Experiencing Violence," "Module 4: Gender-Based Violence and Health Approach," "Module 5: Monitoring and Evaluation," and "Module 6: Effective Communication and Delivery."
