As part of the BADV Training, we held the first event designed for knowledge and experience sharing on combating domestic violence among BADV companies, featuring Oyku Kayaalp, the Diversity and Inclusion Leader at Garanti BBVA.
During the event, Kayaalp shared the process of developing Garanti BBVA's domestic violence policy, published in 2019 after the company joined BADV in 2016. She discussed the support provided to employees in this area, the operation of the Domestic Violence Hotline, and the positive impact of the support mechanisms created to combat domestic violence on the company culture, illustrated with case studies and data.
This event series, aimed at guiding new companies joining BADV in 2024 through the processes of creating and implementing policy documents, will continue with experience sharing from Ford Otosan.
