The 2021 term of the Business Against Domestic Violence Project has started

The Business Against Domestic Violence (BADV) Project, which was carried out with the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and Sabanci Foundation, and in collaboration with TÜSİAD expanded to include 16 more enterprises in 2021. The project aims to raise awareness about violence against women and to create support mechanisms and methods in the workplace to make women's participation in the workforce more effective and efficient. Between 2016-2020, 73 institutions were involved in the project and created an official institution policy within the scope of combating domestic violence. With the new companies participating in the project this year, the number of participating companies reached 89.

In 2021, Atasun Optik, Aydem Enerji, AXA Sigorta, Boyner Grup, BSH Ev Aletleri San.ve Tic. A.Ş., Corteva Agriscience, Doğuş Otomotiv, Doğuş Oto, Doğuş Yayın Grubu, Ford Otomotiv, Gürok Topluluğu, Migros, Metro Türkiye, Mondelez, MV Holding, Nokia, and Unilever participated in the project as well as starting to create a company policy against domestic violence.

Due to the epidemic, Sabanci University Corporate Governance Forum Guidelines and Gender Equality Trainers’ Trainings for the establishment of a workplace policy against domestic violence, given to companies that decided to create a policy, began to be given online as of May, rather than in the physical environment.
