The First Visit of BADV Network Company Visit Series Was Hosted by Yeşim Group
The first of the company visits, aimed at allowing member companies of the BADV Network to observe exemplary policies and best practices in combating domestic violence and promoting gender equality, took place in Bursa on Friday, September 29th, hosted by Yeşim Group.
Dilek Cesur, Director of Corporate Communications at Yeşim Group, along with Hande Kurter, Human Resources Manager, and Behiç Gülşen, Deputy Head of Human Resources and Organizational Development, shared Yeşim Group’s policies and practices implemented thus far in the areas of gender equality and combating domestic violence.
Participants had the opportunity to visit the children’s nursery operated by Yeşim Group for the past 35 years, witnessing one of the most well-known best practices in the business world in this field. Discussions revolved around the contribution of the nursery to strengthening gender equality within the organization and how similar in-house practices can be disseminated to increase women’s participation in the workforce.
The final activity of the visit was the “Zero Tolerance for Violence: Case Workshop,” led by consultant Burcu Üzümcüler. In this workshop, participants engaged in interactive discussions on how to communicate with an employee experiencing violence and how to guide them to the necessary support resources.
