Workshop on International Collaborations Against Domestic Violence has taken place!
The third workshop organized by BADV Network, led by Sabancı University Corporate Governance Forum (SU CGFT), focusing on the sustainability model of the Network, took place in Ankara on December 13th, hosted by United Nations Population Fund Türkiye and the Embassy of Finland.
The workshop, attended by representatives from international financial organizations, experts, embassy representatives, members of the BADV Network, and stakeholders of BADV Project, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Sabancı Vakfı and TÜSİAD, commenced with opening speeches by United Nations Population Fund Türkiye (UNFPA Türkiye) representative Mariam A. Khan and the Ambassador of Finland, Pirkko Hämäläinen.
Following the opening, BADV Project Manager Esen Özdemir and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Gender Programme Specialist Yasemin Akis Kalaylioglu (PhD) presented the functioning structure and management mechanisms of the Business Against Domestic Violence (BADV) Project and the BADV Network, explaining the sustainability model of the Network.
The workshop discussed the possibilities of sustainable and effective collaborations against domestic violence, with contributions from representatives of international organizations who contribute with information and experiences related to their respective fields.
