The Second Module of the 2023 BADV Gender Equality Trainer Training Program Took Place

The second module titled “Institutions and Organizations to be Applied in Combating Violence Against Women” and “Legal Framework” of the Business Against Domestic Violence Project (BADV) Gender Equality Trainer Training Program was conducted with the participation of 16 companies in two sessions. 

In the first  training led by trainer Çiğdem Hacısoftaoğlu Çataltepe on June 8th, the discussion focused on national and international legislation and laws related to combating violence against women, and the importance of legal regulations in establishing support mechanisms for dealing with domestic violence within companies.

In the second training conducted by Yasemin Akis Kalaylıoğlu, UNFPA Gender Program Coordinator, on June 12th, the focus was on institutions and organizations that women who have experienced violence can turn to, as well as protective and preventive measures that can be applied under Law No. 6284.

The training program, designed to provide companies with essential information for developing and implementing policies to combat domestic violence and to ensure the dissemination of this information within the organization, will proceed with the the 3rd, 4th, and 5th modules on the topics of “Communication Techniques with Employees Experiencing Violence”, “Approach to Violence Against Women and Health,” and “Effective Communication.”
