BADV 2024 Companies Experience Sharing #2: Ford Otosan
As part of the BADV Training program, the second event designed to facilitate information and experience sharing among BADV companies on combating domestic violence took place with expert psychologist Gökçen Gökçe Kayalar and Industrial Relations Team Member Hilal Ayartürk Yüksel from Ford Otosan.
During the event, the process of creating Ford Otosan’s Domestic Violence and Abuse Prevention Guide, published in 2022, was discussed in detail. Participants engaged in an interactive discussion about the guide's content, as well as Ford Otosan's principles and methods for working with individuals who have experienced domestic violence. Kayalar and Ayartürk Yüksel emphasized that domestic violence cases have subjective aspects, meaning that actions taken vary according to the specific needs of each individual affected. However, they pointed out that the consistent element in all cases is their approach of placing the person affected by violence at the center of the process.
